Iran-US tensions: Trump shows no sign of retaliation over Iran’s attack on US troops in Iraq

President Donald Trump has given no sign that the US will react militarily to Iran’s attacks on Iraqi bases facilitating US troops. The tension got triggered between the countries after the US drone attack killed a Top General of the Iranian army.

Trump said on Wednesday that there had been no US losses and harm was insignificant after Iran launched twelve ballistic missiles at the Ain al-Assad airbase in Iraq’s Anbar region and on an office in Erbil.
