Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has threatened to announce European Right-wing movement. He also urged the EU to support the US’s foreign policy in his yearly news conference.
The Fidesz party pioneer commended US President Donald Trump and English PM Boris Johnson as “youthful” and “gutsy” pioneers, lauding their reaction to Iran contrasted with the EU which had been “not clear” on the issue.
Not all columnists were permitted to go to the annual news conference, in Budapest. A possibility had been missed to make a moderate atmosphere arrangement.
Orbán said the EPP gathering, from which he was banned a year ago for making and distributing a political poster showing that Soros heavily influenced Jean-Claude Juncker.
“The European Individuals’ Gathering is contracting, losing impact, losing positions, losing seats, getting more vulnerable and more fragile,” he said.
Hungary might want the European position on the US-Iran struggle to be nearer to that of Israel and the US, he said.
“I might want for the European position, which isn’t sure about this Iranian issue, to be situated towards the Israeli-US position.”
EU foreign ministers will meet on Friday in Brussels to talk about the Iran emergency, with an emphasis on easing tension between Washington and Tehran.
