Costa Rica has made coronavirus vaccines mandatory for children. It is now the first country to make the compulsion for kids. The coronavirus vaccine will be includeded in the wide list of basic childhood.
The nation has signed a deal with Pfizer to receive doses for all under 12s starting March 2022.
Earlier this week, U.S. health regulators approved the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine for children ages five to 11.
Most children are unsual to become seriously ill if they ingest Covid-19, but can still be infectious, even without symptoms. Vaccination could help them prevent the virus from spreading to others.
The Costa Rica deal with Pfizer will see it get 3.5 million doses, of which 1.5 million will be particularly reserved for those aged five to 11 years.

More than 70% of those between the ages of 12 and 19 have now received the first dose of the vaccine, officials stated.
