A woman residing in Bad-Heilbrunn Germany protested against the ‘odour’ coming from her nearby cheese factory. She protested in an extremely different manner by demonstrating her aggression through a ‘Stricker Campaign’.
The women hailing from Bad-Heilbrunn stuck stickers around her neighbourhood to raise her voice against the stinky smell that comes out of from a cheese factory operating nearby.
Owner of Tölzer Kasladen cheese factory, Wolfgang Hofmann asked the women to remove the stickers, after which the matter was taken to court where the judiciary ordered in favour of the women.
However, the court stated that people are allowed to protest against the smell, but they cannot cover the town with stickers.
A court spokesperson told media that the woman is still allowed to say that she finds the smell olfactory nuisance.
Besides this, the cheese factory owner happily took the court’s decision and stated that they would have been more grateful if the court had banned the woman for not telling about the smell to others.
The cheese factory owner, Wolfgang Hofmann said he owns several businesses around the area but had never seen anything such as this before. “Cheese smells, yes. But it doesn’t stink.”
