Princess Diana’s 30-year-old cousin, Lady Kitty Spencer, is married to 62-year-old billionaire Michael Lewis.
The couple exchanged vows at Villa Aldobrandini in Rome on Saturday. The bride wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown – a designer she has been modelling for since 2017, the Sun reported.
The long-sleeved lace creation has drawn comparisons to Kate Middleton’s iconic, albeit more modest, 2011 wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.
Lady Kitty is Diana’s younger brother, Charles, Earl Spencer, who makes her a first cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry.
But according to Hello! It didn’t seem like William and Harry attended the wedding, although famous friends like Pixie Lott and Sabrina Dhowre Elba (who is married to Idris Elba) were there to celebrate their girlfriend.
The news of Lady Kitty’s association with Lewis, a South African fashion magnate, broke in January 2020 – just six months after their first public appearance as a couple in the Hamptons.
However, Lady Kitty refused to talk about their personal lives. In a May interview with Town and Country UK, the model said her romantic relationships had nothing to do with anyone else.
“It should make no difference to someone’s day,” she said. ‘Who I love or do not love, or what I do not like, or with whom I want to make an appointment, I do not know why anyone should read it about his wheat flakes. As long as I keep it holy, then it can stay that way. Once I do not do that, I do not think you can get it back. ‘
