The action to pause “Oxford vaccine” in Europe will increase vaccine skepticism

Several countries across Europe have halted the use of the Oxford Astrazeneca coronavirus vaccine after some people experienced blood clotting due to the vaccine. The vaccine, which has been taken by more than 300 million people globally is now halted in some countries.

Medical professionals believe that these moves across Europe to pause immunizations with the AstraZeneca jab will increase vaccine skepticism. However, some are advocating the vaccine stating the reaction in some people is much smaller as hundreds of millions of people experienced no harmful side-effects after taking the vaccine.

Doctors believe that a ban on the Oxford Astrazeneca coronavirus vaccine will take lives as it is the most significant to vaccine people against the contagious COVID-19 virus.

Around 17 countries have halted the use of the vaccine as a prudent measure amid reports of blood clots.

The European Medicines Agency said on Tuesday it is demonstrated the advantages of the jab better its risks, a view shared by the World Health Organization. No direct link has been installed in the vaccine and blood clots.

“We have now seen a question before now with vaccine hesitancy, but it will definitely improve that, and the way we define what is going on and encourage oneself about what is going on is very serious,” Dr William Budd, a clinical research doctor at Imperial College London, told media.

“Antivaxers may use this to support their own agenda which is dangerous if they are working to stop people taking the vaccine, which saves lives.”

Dr Budd went on the AstraZeneca trials in the UK. He said if any serious reports of blood clots had developed, then the vaccine would not have been recognized by WHO or the EMA.

“It’s important for bones to not get bogged hair with people that are spreading misinformation and to get it from official origins,” he added.
