Stars Shine Bright at Paris Fashion Week as Chanel Steals Spotlight

From Emma Watson’s sparkling ring to Nicole Kidman’s first public appearance post-divorce, Paris Fashion Week 2025 blended celebrity glamour and haute couture, with Chanel’s debut under Matthieu Blazy drawing the industry’s top stars and most anticipated runway moments

Paris Fashion Week 2025 continued to dazzle this week as some of Hollywood’s biggest names flocked to the French capital for high fashion’s most glamorous showcase. With powerhouse labels Chanel and Miu Miu unveiling their latest collections, the event drew an audience of A-listers, designers, and industry insiders eager to witness couture’s grandest stage.

It was a particularly significant evening for Chanel, as designer Matthieu Blazy made his much-anticipated debut for the iconic fashion house. The show, staged in a celestial-themed venue adorned with giant, glowing planet-like sculptures, reflected Chanel’s blend of innovation and timeless elegance.

The setting — ethereal and cinematic — provided a fitting backdrop for a collection steeped in both classic craftsmanship and futuristic flair.

Among the famous faces in attendance were Harry Potter star Emma Watson and Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman. Watson, who recently made headlines after a public spat with Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, sparked engagement rumours by appearing with a sparkling ring on her wedding finger.

Dressed in understated black, she waved gracefully to fans as she made a quick departure following the Miu Miu show later in the day.

Kidman, appearing just a week after filing for divorce from musician Keith Urban, was accompanied by her daughters Sunday Rose and Faith, as well as her niece Lucia. Sunday Rose, who recently walked for Dior, seemed perfectly at home among the industry elite.

Australian star Margot Robbie also turned heads, arriving in a sleek black ensemble — a quilted bomber jacket over a bralette top paired with wide-leg trousers. Supermodel Naomi Campbell epitomized timeless chic in a monochrome look and oversized sunglasses, while Tilda Swinton opted for minimalist elegance with a long-sleeved black top and chunky necklace.

Actor Pedro Pascal, known for The Fantastic Four and The Last of Us, kept things casual in a navy jumper and roomy man bag, while filmmaker Baz Luhrmann was seen chatting with Vogue’s Dame Anna Wintour in the front row — both adhering to the classic black-and-white palette Coco Chanel herself once championed.

The day’s shows were not without surprise. At Thom Browne, a theatrical display featured an alien-like figure outdoors, while Miu Miu presented an apron-inspired theme — a quirky yet playful twist that had attendees talking. Even actor Richard E. Grant made an unexpected appearance on the Miu Miu runway, delighting the crowd.

Pop star Demi Lovato embraced retro glamour at the Coperni Womenswear show, channeling an ’80s gym-inspired aesthetic complete with sharp heels and bold makeup. Meanwhile, The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri and I May Destroy You creator Michaela Coel added star power to the front row.

As the lights dimmed and the last models exited the runway, Paris once again reaffirmed its reputation as the beating heart of global fashion — where celebrity, creativity, and couture merge into a spectacle of pure artistry.
