In a significant development in the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine, Russian forces have reportedly taken control of the town of Lozovatsky in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic.

Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted and shot down four attack drones and one missile fired by Russia overnight.
The Ukrainian Air Force released a statement confirming the success of their defense operations, noting that “all targets were shot down by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Dnipro, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions.”
The intensity of the conflict was further highlighted by army data indicating over 100 clashes on the front in the past 24 hours. More than a third of these skirmishes occurred in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk region, underscoring its strategic importance.
