A previous Russian jail administration official reported having shot himself dead in a court on Wednesday in the wake of being given a three-year prison sentence on debasement accusations.
Viktor Sviridov, who had filled in as a vehicle chief in the government jail administration, took out a gun and fired himself dead in the court in the wake of hearing the decision.
An examination has started into how Sviridov had the option to sneak the weapon into the court building.
Sviridov has conceded to coercing a 10-million ruble (€150,000) influence from another jail administration official however his legal advisors asked the judge not to force a jail sentence as a result of his progressed and hopeless malignancy.
“The conditions wherein the respondent … conveyed weapons to the town hall, are being built up,” Ulyana Solopova, a representative for the Moscow City Court, told RIA Novosti.
