London, UK – British authorities have arrested the Russian captain of a cargo ship that collided with an oil tanker in the North Sea on Monday, resulting in the death of a crew member.
The 59-year-old captain of the Solong, a container ship owned by the German shipping company Ernest Russ, is suspected of “manslaughter through gross negligence,” police confirmed.
