Polish President to boycott Holocaust memorial in Israel because of his request to deliver a speech was rejected

Poland has verified that its president, Andrzej Duda, will boycott a service to mark the emancipation of the Nazi death camp of Auschwitz after his request to deliver a talk was rejected.

In a statement, Duda stated he detected no purpose of why he would not be allowed to speak after the leaders of France, U.S, the UK and Russia were asked to speak the World Holocaust Forum, which will be held at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem on January 23.

Duda told the lack of a Polish voice while the conference was “falsification of history.”

The Polish president aspired to speak on recent remarks by Vladimir Putin, in which the Russian president put on some blame for World War Two to Poland.

However, this is not the only time when Russian President made such accusation on Poland, several times leaders blamed Poland for the war which commenced in 1939 when the nation was attacked first by Nazi Germany and then by the Soviet Union a fortnight later.

Poland later became the enclosure territory for some of the Nazi regime’s worst wickedness. Six million Jews were butchered during the Holocaust, and the Nazis killed around three million of them Poles, and a further 2.5 million non-Jewish ethnic Poles.

In an emailed statement, Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem, confirmed that Duda would not be asked to speak at the World Holocaust Forum ceremony on 22 and 23 of January.
