Go-Ahead Begins Starlink Satellite Internet Trials on Norwegian Railways

Norway – Railway operator Go-Ahead has commenced testing of Starlink satellite technology in southwestern Norway, aiming to provide reliable internet access for passengers traveling through remote regions.

Go-Ahead plans to expand the trials in January 2025 to the longer Stavanger–Kristiansand route, which features tunnels that will serve as a critical test for the system’s ability to quickly restore connectivity.
