European states demand answers over Maria Kolesnikova disappearance

Germany and Britain have communicated worries over the vanishing of Belarusian resistance figure Maria Kolesnikova, who has not been seen since Monday morning. 

“We are stressed (about) Ms Kolesnikova,” said Foreign Minister Heiko Maas as cited by the newspaper Bild. “We request to know where she is and we require the arrival of all political detainees in Belarus.” 

He included that Germany – which at present holds the administration of the European Union – is working “determinedly” on a progression of approvals against Alexander Lukashenko’s system. 

Then, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab tweeted that the administration must make the arrival of Kolesnikova its most elevated need. 

Unsubstantiated reports said that Kolesnikova and two other restriction figures may have been seized in the focal point of Minsk. The restriction’s press group said that she just as her staff members Ivan Kravtsov and Anton Rodnenkov were still “distant” and that the resistance’s “legal advisors are searching for them”.

Kolesnikova is a pioneer of the Coordination Council which was set up by the resistance in Belarus to make exchange with tyrant pioneer Alexander Lukashenko over a change of intensity following a month ago’s contested political race. 

She ran Viktor Babariko’s resistance crusade yet he was confined before the presidential races. She at that point united with up-and-comer Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
