Tesla’s Cybertruck explosion outside Trump International Hotel on Wednesday has garnered attention of international media as the Cybertruck faced no to bare minimal damage after the huge blast.
The Cybertruck also prevented a huge disaster, which may have led to a great loss. The Las Vegas Police officials, who investigated the crime site, found the vehicle in a tough position, with almost every exterior in place.
The Cybertruck which blew outside the Trump hotel, pushed the explosion upward and prevented the car parts to fly in air, which may have caused damage to surrounding buildings.
Firefighters from the Las Vegas fire department responded to the crime site immediately, where they extinguished the fire and revealed that the accident had claimed the life of the driver.
The disaster also caused minor injuries to seven others, who were taken for transported for medical treatment. The visitors who were staying at the Trump hotel, were also moved to a nearby hotel for safety.
According to sources, the incident is expected to be a terrorist act, and the suspect is being identified as Matthew Livelsberger.
Owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, following this incident commented on X and teased the terrorists as he said that they have used a wrong vehicle for the blast. Elon Musk then noted that their designed futuristic vehicle meets all the safety standards.
As soon as the information of the Cybertruck explosion went viral on social media, users started questioning the safety of Cybertruck, however many supported the company, highlighting that the vehicle was not at fault.
A user named Sawyer Merritt on X wrote, “A bomb was laid off in the Cybertruck’s bed and the tires did not even deflate, the exterior of the truck and the bed door were still attached. It’s the toughest truck ever made.”
Geiger Capital, a X user wrote, “The Las Vegas Sheriff just said that the Cybertruck held its frame and limited the damage of the explosion, directing the blast upwards. He tried to send a message by using a Tesla, but it ended up saving lives.
