Austria issues postal stamp with BREXIT date

England’s tremendously deferred takeoff from the European Association left Austria’s mail station with an issue looking like 140,000 stamps printed with the first, dropped Brexit date of Walk 29, 2019.

The missed cutoff time spent a year ago with England still solidly in the coalition.

In any case, with Brexit Day at last occurring, postal authorities chose to utilize the stamps after all by just including the new date through a procedure known as overprinting.

It is sold for €1.80 — the charge for a standard size letter to abroad goals.

The stamp “is as exceptional and novel as the historical backdrop of Brexit,” Österreichische Post said in an announcement.
The move was praised on the web, with Twitter client Herr Naumann stating: “There’s an idiom about Austrians coming up short on a comical inclination: tomorrow there will be this stamp on Brexit.
