A man shot dead by French Police after a stabbing attack in Paris

French police shot dead a man close to Paris on Friday after he went on a blade frenzy in a rural park, killing one individual and truly injuring two others, BFM TV supporter revealed.

The assault occurred in the town of Villejuif, close to Paris. Police cordoned off the territory around the recreation centre, and the deputy head of the French interior ministry was at the scene.

Video monitoring footage suggested the attacker had acted alone, but officers advised the public to keep away and sealed off the area as they searched for possible accomplices.

The victim was reported to be a 56-year-old local man who was stabbed as he tried to protect his wife

Two of the exploited people are in grave condition in a clinic, the French station cited sources near the examination as saying.

In October, four individuals were cut to death at the Paris police central command by an IT expert working for the police.

Investigators said that assailant, who was shot dead by police, had gone under the influence of fear mongers.

There was no prompt word on the character of Friday’s attacker.
